This annual is best sown in autumn to flower the following spring. It produces short spikes of bright blue flowers. Flowers are great in the garden or picked for bunches. Leaves are grey green & covered in soft hairs.
Sow: Spring, summer, autumn.
How: Sow either seed trays & prick out, or sow where to flower outside, 5mm deep covered with a layer of mix or soil. Best results are from sowing where they are to flower. Germination takes around 14 days.
Plant Where: Full sun to part shade.
Spacing: Transplant to 30cm – 50cm spacings.
Height: 1m x 0.5m wide
Growing Tips: Will self-sow if left in. Protect from slugs when small.
